“Feline Frenzy: Outrage Among Animal Enthusiasts as Abandoned Cats Found Locked in Crates in NYC”

The SoHo neighborhood is currently being investigated by the NYPD due to two incidents of cats being abandoned. These cats were found lucky to have been discovered as they were placed in closed buckets. They are now safe and well-cared for at Animal Haven. However, if it weren’t for a staff member noticing one of the cats peeking from a bucket, they may not have survived.

Two cats were found alive but in poor condition in a building corner, not just one. The first cat discovered was named Sage. Security cameras were accessed by the NYPD and captured a man leaving two buckets in the building, though his identity remains unknown. It is uncertain whether he intended to leave the buckets for the animal shelter, but abandoning animals in this manner is a cruel act.

In the event that the cats were not discovered, they would have perished. Fortunately, both felines are doing well, albeit one of them is still a bit frightened. The Animal Haven personnel have expressed that if an individual finds themselves in a situation where they can no longer care for their pet, they are more than welcome to reach out to the shelter. Even if the shelter cannot directly assist, there are safe ways to surrender a pet that should be considered.
